We’ve all done it, I’m just as guilty. We meet someone for the first time and we immediately have an impression about them based on their looks, what they’re wearing, and how they speak.
We either like them or we don’t.
Their dress code, which might not be to our personal taste, they might be covered in tattoos, piercings and speak abruptly or rudely, there is a person who wants to be loved, wants to be accepted.
Let’s learn to walk in other peoples shoes, we don’t know what they’ve been through, what they might have experienced. Let’s be more accepting and forgiving, less judgemental.
It doesn’t take much to be kind, just a nod and a smile can go a long way to making someone else feel acknowledged. Everyone deserves to be loved and accepted. We are all different, but we are all the same.
